Part Two
An alleyway, another Earth
Animebabe kept her hand on her backpack. It was the special backpack which held all their weapons inside by some special Technican means, GlitterRock thought it was just magic. They were face to face with two very dangerous women, trapped on a parallel world to boot. She wanted to make certain that they could get their weapons in plenty of time.
The eldest of the two women, Electra Woman spoke, sounding very authoritive like, "I repeat, do not move. State your names, now."
Slowly, each of the Cappers replied.
"Animebabe"
"SpydieGirl"
"BatQueen"
"Lanzman"
"SideMan"
"GlitterRock"
"Holy Crap," the other woman, Dyna Girl, said after Glitter had spoken, "You don't think he's related to HIM, do you?"
"I'm not sure, Dyna Girl," Electra Woman replied, "But if he is, then they are all to be considered dangerous. Best we not take any chances, use the Electra Stun Gun."
As the two women pulled out the Electra Stun Gun, a bright glowing ball fell from above in front of the two. It exploded, blinding the two.
"Holy Sh..." was all that Dyna Girl could get out. She stumbled backwards trying to clear her vision.
From out of no where, the Cappers heard a voice call out.
"Run. Don't stand, just run."
And that is just what they did.
A couple of blocks up
The Cappers stopped and looked back, there was no sign of the Electra Mobile anywhere. Fortunately, they had gotten away before the two women had gotten their sights back.
"Ok, next time, I'll say I'm The Gray Zombie." GlitterRock said, "I should of known better than to use my actual capper name."
"I don't think it matters," Lanzman reassured Glitter, "Those two have a serious mental problem. They'd of probably gone after us regardless of if we used our capper names or our real names."
Animebabe opened her backpack, "Well, regardless, I'm not taking any chances. Everyone get their weapons."
As the group got their weapons, a sound of someone clearing their throat sounded. The whole group spun around, weapons ready. They found an old man, dressed as if he was a fancy magician.
"That's The Sorcerer." GlitterRock told them
The Sorcerer smiled, "That is correct. I see you are strangers here in Metro City. You really should of stayed outside the city's limits. Now, however, you cannot leave without running into deadly trouble."
SpydieGirl snapped her fingers, "You were the one who threw that glowing ball, weren't you?"
"Yes," The Sorcerer replied with a bow, "I was too late to save poor Ali Baba, but at least I saved you from their tyranny."
A sound came from overhead, The Sorcerer quickly escorted into an abandoned building. They all watched as a robot flew overhead. SideMan guessed that the robot was over seven feet tall. As the robot flew around the corner, The Sorcerer motioned the cappers to follow him.
"The Electra Drones patrol the city at this time of night. They'll be back. We must hurry."
"Electra Drones?" asked Animebabe
"Electra Woman's police force. Very deadly. They shoot laser beams and kill instantly."
As they followed the elderly gentleman, BatQueen whispered to GlitterRock, "Isn't he a bad guy? Or wasn't he, as the case may be."
"Yea," GlitterRock replied "but considering what we've seen, I'm more likely to trust a villain, than Electra Woman and Dyna Girl."
Later, at a secret underground lair
The Cappers were led to where The Sorcerer and his allies stayed. A few other people were sitting at a table, one guy was laying in a bed, extremely sick.
"Ok," Animebabe finally said "We're new to these parts....as a matter of fact, we're new to this dimension, but aren't you supposed to be a super villain?"
The Sorcerer chuckled, "Yes, at one time, I was. That was before things on this world changed. Are you really from another dimension?"
The Cappers nodded. The Sorcerer slowly nodded, then continued with his explanation.
"We villains had plotted to take over the world, years ago. But, we were always thwarted by the super heroes that protected the innocent. The heroes consisted of Kaptain Kool, of California. Mega Man of Megatropolis, BlueJay and his partner, Sparrow, of Washington DC, and of course, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl of Metro City. During the 80's, the country fell into a disastrous time that was known simply as "Reaganomics". The heroes figured that the best way to bring the country back to what it should be was to put one of their own in the White House. So, during the election of '88, Mega Man was nominated as President of the United States.
For awhile, the country seemed to be heading to the up and up. And, the bad guys continued to do what we did best. Being bad. President Mega Man finally decided it was time to fight crime, no matter the cost. Kaptain Kool and his team, The Kongs, were the first to stop being heroes and become vigilantes. After BlueJay died at the hands of his arch nemesis, King Stick, Sparrow started wearing black and became The Raven. Then Electra Woman and Dyna Girl were next. They started executing villains on the spot. I watched as my dear Miss Dazzle was electrocuted."
"And Mega Man let this happen?" BatQueen asked
"Yes. The other countries were shocked as to what was going on. The United States was turning into a police state country. The heroes even threatened ordinary citizens for jaywalking. The United Kingdom sent their greatest champion, Great Britain, to talk with Mega Man. It led to one of the biggest fights ever seen in the history of Super Heroes. Mega Man lost the fight, but the damage was already too late. Metro City is the only city that hasn't been freed of the super heroes grip. The Electra Drones are tough."
"So, who's all left of the villains of Metro City?" Animebabe asked
"Myself," The Sorcerer pointed around the room, "Pharaoh, Cleopatra, Empress of Evil, The Jester, an old villain of BlueJays, and" pointing over to the sick man "GlitterRock."
The Capper GlitterRock looked over at the frail man. He had gotten his name from this person. The last time he had seen this person, he wore tights, with a green afro, and star shaped sunglasses. Now, Glitter was looking at a frail man, with no hair. The Capper GlitterRock tried to hold back a tear. Animebabe touched his arm, letting him no that the others felt his pain. Glitter smiled.
The Elder GlitterRock looked over at the Cappers. "We need to strike and strike fast.....dudes." he said.
"It's hopeless." The Empress of Evil said, "We're too old for any of this. And besides, how are we going to fight Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, not to mention those Electra Drones?"
The Capper GlitterRock walked over to the Elder GlitterRock. "Sir," he said "I've thought you were a cool cat, I even took your name on my world."
The Elder GlitterRock smiled, The Capper GlitterRock turned back to his teammates.
"Hey, boss" SideMan said, "You can't be thinking of helping them."
"Why not," GlitterRock asked "We've fought the Kortac. I don't think that these heroes are tougher than them. Besides, we still have a down cruiser that we need to fix. We might be able to find parts here on this world that we can use. But we need to get the parts."
Animebabe nodded, "And we can't get them while we're being hunted down by a couple of fifty year old women who STILL insist on wearing tights."
The Cappers turned to the group of villains.
"Ladies and Gentlemen." GlitterRock said, "I think that my associates and I might be able to assist you in your fight against your enemies."
"Really?" Cleopatra asked "And just who are you guys."
Animebabe smiled, "We're fighters. We're travelers. We're smartasses. We're The Cappers."
The villains looked at them, unimpressed.
Animebabe threw up her hands, "Ok. Spydie. Do it."
SpydieGirl picked up her laser rifle and fired at the wall behind the villains. The villains ran out of the way, trying not to get hit. After firing a few shots, everyone looked at the wall. SpydieGirl used her rifle to spell out two words.
ROCK ON!
The Sorcerer turned to the Cappers, "So, what do you have in mind?"
Animebabe turned to the Capper GlitterRock, who already had a wicked smile on his face.
"Now, that's a smile that scares the jee willies out of me." Anime said
