Part One
Easter Island
Animebabe fired a few shots from her laser rifle. SpydieGirl and Lanzman ran over to her. The Kortac were fierce, but this group of Cappers were tough
"Boy, this is great," Anime said "Gray Zombie decides to take a vacation. Look at all this fun he's missing. And on Easter Island, too. How can you pass this opportunity up?"
A laser shot passed, narrowly missing Lanzman.
"Hey, I'm having fun." he said "Where's GlitterRock?"
SpydieGirl fired a few shots, four Kortac fell dead.
"He's getting the dimensional cruiser ready." She replied then fired a few more shots.
Normally, the Cappers would teleport from place to place using their wristbands. Tolstoy decided on testing vehicles for dimensional travel, incase there was a malfunction in the wristbands, of if there needed to be a transport of people who were not equipped with the devices.
Animebabe clicked on her communicator, "Glitter, where are you at? We could use some help here."
GlitterRock's voice came over the communicator, "Hey, you cats and kittens just relax. Because, Live, direct from the GlitterDome, it's GLITTERROCK."
A small ship teleported over the Cappers. The ship fired several shots at the Kortac. The Kortac fired back. One of the shots hit the cruiser, the cruiser jolted, then regained control of itself. Glitter fired more shots.
BatQueen and Sideman came running over to Animebabe and the others.
"We're in luck" BatQueen said "The Kortac are leaving."
Sideman smiled, "Guess we were too much for them."
The firing stopped, no Kortac could be seen. GlitterRock landed the cruiser. The doors opened and the Cappers walked in. No one noticed the smoke coming from under the cruiser.
Inside the cruiser
Animebabe turned to GlitterRock
"GlitterRock, how's the cruiser."
"Not sure," Glitter answered, looking at the controls "She took some hits. I'll have a better look at the damage once we get back to Capper Central."
"Great" SpydieGirl said, "I need to go over the songs for my band, we've got a gig on Hard Rock Live this weekend. I don't know what's more satisfying, saving the world form dimensional invaders, or having an album going double platinum.
"The album." Sideman said, "At least, you're getting paid for the music."
BatQueen sat down in her seat, "Well then, let's go. I need to see if DanZero noticed I topped his high score on House of Dead II."
GlitterRock gave a sly smile, "Oh, is he going to be pissed when he finds out."
Animebabe turned to GlitterRock "Ok, GlitterRock. Let's go home."
"You got it. Everybody strap in, cuz Glitter's at the helm."
"God help us." Lanzman added
The cruiser slowly lifted off the ground, then as it flew off it slowly disappeared, teleporting into the dimensional vortex. Unfortunately, the dimensional drive of the cruiser short circuited, having been hit in the fight.
The Vortex
The cruiser was spinning out of control. GlitterRock tried to keep the ship steady, but to no avail.
"Damn," Glitter said, "maybe I should of tried to check for damages before we left."
"Oh gee," Animebabe said, trying the communicator "You think?"
"I'm sorry A-babe, guess I goofed big time."
"Don't let it get to you. It's all part of the job."
SpydieGirl and Lanzman walked to the front of the ship
"We could try to teleport out, using our wristbands." Spydie suggested
"Too dangerous" Animebabe pointed out "We're moving way to fast to set up a starting coordinates. Glitter, I think we may need to make an emergency landing. Hobbes should be able to track us."
"Yea." GlitterRock agreed "Looks like we've got no choice. Everyone sit down, buckle up. Might be a good idea to assume the crash position and start praying to whatever great deity you pray to."
"Next time," Lanzman said as he sat back down "I drive."
Another Earth
The cruiser shot into the planets reality like a bullet. Fortunately, it was over a forest, so it never attracted any attention. Then the cruiser crashed into the forest, only damaging a few trees, but taking a lot of damage itself.
The door opened up and the Cappers walked out.
"Thank you for flying Glitter Airways." GlitterRock joked "Please feel free to toss your cookies over behind that bush."
Sideman laughed, "Boss, you're nuts."
Glitter merely shrugged
"Ok," Animebabe said "We need to find civilization, and see about fixing the cruiser. Wonder what dimension we're in?"
"Looks like Earth." BatQueen said, "Wonder if it's our Earth."
Animebabe shook her head, "I hope so. Hobbes said parallel worlds are hard to plot. If this isn't our Earth, we may have to find our way back to Capper Central on our own. Is everyone ok? Good, let's start hiking. Glitter activate the cruisers cloaking shield.
An hour later
The Cappers made it to the edge of the forest and were awed by a huge metropolis.
"This isn't our Earth." SpydieGirl noticed
"Poopie" added GlitterRock
The Cappers continued walking. Once they made it into the city, they looked around. It was evident that at one time the city was a beautiful metropolis, but now,it had turned dark and gritty.
"Metropolis meets Gotham City." Lanzman whispered.
The citizens of the city watched the Cappers. Some ran off, others merely stared. The Cappers were beginning to get the feeling that they were not going to be welcomed with open arms here.
As they continued, they heard a man yelling for help. They all ran to investigate. They ran around a corner and watched as a man, dressed as if he were from the Arabian Knights, get electrocuted by two women, both wearing bright red tights, although they were both too old to be wearing tights.
GlitterRock's eyes went wide and then he motioned the Cappers to quickly follow him. As they went into an alley, Animebabe looked at him.
"What's wrong?" She asked
"We're in trouble." he said, "This is a parallel Earth, and I know who those people were."
"Really?" SpydieGirl asked
"Well, enlighten us." Sideman said
"That guy, was Ali Baba. Those two women, well, last time I saw them was on a Saturday morning kids show. They were kind of like a parody of the old Batman tv series starring Adam West, I guess now they became more like Frank Miller's Dark Knight."
Before Glitter continued, a bright light filled the alley. A strange looking car pulled into the alley, and two figures got out. It was the two ladies who electrocuted Ali Baba. The eldest of the two women walked forward.
"Halt." She said "You people are under arrest for being suspicious looking. For the safety of Metro City, you are to be taken in for questioning. By order of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl."
"Guys," Animebabe said, "We in trouble."
