Beginnings

Part Two

Kortac Home Dimension

Martac, supreme commander of the Kortac Invasion Force, studied the computer readouts the Kortac Intelligence obtained about Earth and it's inhabitants. His clawed fingers tapped the table. His black motionless eyes stared at the screen. His green skin gleamed in the light of the Kortac afternoon. He looked up as a Human walked into the room, followed by two Kortac guards.

"Ah," Martac said, "Mr. Green, how do you like my world?"

The human shrugged, "It's different than Earth. Your people are situated in the base I've set up on Earth."

"Ah yes. Inside the building housing....what was it called?"

"Sci Fi. I think it's funny myself."

    "Yes, I'm sure you would."

"Martac," Green continued, "you promised me a lot of money if I helped you."

"Yes, I did. But tell me, why have you turned against you're fellow man?"

Green shrugged again, "The price was right. Besides, you promised I wouldn't be enslaved."

"True, but there is one more duty you must perform."

"Really?" The human asked nervously, "What's that?"

"Well, you see, I can't walk around Earth as a Kortac. And you're body cannot hold two brains at the same time."

The two Kortac guard each grabbed Green by the arms and dragged him out of the room as the human kicked and screamed, begging for mercy.

Another Kortac walked into the room, this one wore the Kortac version of a lab coat.

"Excuse me sir. The cryogenic chamber is ready to hold your body once the brain transfer is complete."

"Excellent," Martac said with a smile, "The sooner we begin our invasion, the sooner the Kortac Empire can claim a new dimension."

"And what shall we do with Mr. Green's brains while you are 'borrowing' his body?"

"Try boiling it, see how it tastes." Martac said, then he laughed, opening his mouth wide, showing all three rows of his sharp teeth.

Elsewhere

Tolstoy escorted the Cappers into the main control room of his headquarters, which he explained existed in a realm between dimensions. He had The Computer bring up an image of the Kortac.

    "Sum bitch." exclaimed BuckFifty

"L.I.B," said the Gray Zombie, "They're a reptilian like race. Isn't that very original like?"

Tolstoy gave The Gray Zombie a stern look. "they are a ruthless race. They have conquered several dimensional worlds, enslaving the inhabitants and draining the worlds of their natural resources.

"Let me guess, " asked Rizzz "and your world was one of them."

"Yes, my homeworld of Technica." he said and then he turned towards the computer

DanZero whispered to the others, "Technica?"

Medusa added, "Yea, sounds like something from a comic book."

Rizzz nodded, "Yea, something created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko."

"Nah," disagreed the Gray Zombie, "More like Jack Kirby, you know, New Gods type shtuff."

    animebabe walked over to Tolstoy

"I have a question," she asked "Why us?"

"She's right," BuckFifty said, "you need some people with experience."

"Where are we going to find experienced dimensional invader fighting people at this time of the night?" asked MedusaD

Tolstoy turned towards the Cappers, "You are all capable of doing more than you may know."

"Actually," The Gray Zombie said, "We Cappers are the only ones who would believe and accept any of this."

"It appears sir, you cannot hide anything from the Cappers." The Computer said. animebabe wasn't sure, but it sounded like the Computer found it funny.

"That would be enough Computer," Tolstoy said, then he turned back to the Cappers. "You will be outfitted with weapons and a portable version of the Teleporter. Not to mention other resources I have at your disposal. But I need your help."

The Meeting Room

The Cappers sat around the table, discussing the situation.

"Well," BuckFifty said, "What do we do?"

MedusaD slammed her fist on the table. "I say we fight, damn it. After all, it's our world in danger."

    "Hell, yea." agreed DanZero

    "I'm in." Rizzz said

    "What's the alternative?" asked animebabe

"Capping The Sentinel on Sci Fi." responded the Gray Zombie

The Main Control Room

Tolstoy sat in a chair at the main control console.

"I'm sure the Cappers will join in your mission." The Computer said, trying to reassure his creator

"Yes, I'm sure you're right. There is one thing about the Cappers, they are great in number."

"One question I do have, sir. How does The Gray Zombie keep his underwear on the ceiling?"

Before Tolstoy could explain the situation about threads to the Computer, the Capper's walked in. Tolstoy got up and walked over to them.

"Well," he asked "What have you decided?"

The Gray Zombie smiled, "We decided to kick some Kortac ass, that's what we decided."

    "Damn straight" added BuckFifty
